A former junior national player, Cristian Pedri is a certified ITF Level 2 coach for advanced tennis players. His coaching career took off at the local club in Argentina, where he learned tennis himself as a child. Through the extensive training and help of his brilliant coach, Crisitan gained enough experience that granted him access to a full time coaching position in one of the most prestigious summer camps in the United States of America. The knowledge that he gained, while working a tough schedule with the top juniors in the USA, allowed Cristian to apply for a position at Peter Burwash International. Upon successful completion of an intense training that consisted of 150 hours of on and off court activities, Cristian departed for his first assignment at The Mandarin Oriental in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. As the Tennis Director, running one of the best tennis programs in South East Asia, thanks to his hard work and dedication, Cristian has been rightfully awarded PBI Rookie of the Year for 2019/2020. The experience of being a Tennis Director and newly acquired skills, helped him to quickly become an asset at his next assignment at the renowned American Club in Hong Kong, where he got the chance to work alongside some of the most experienced professionals in the company. Cristian arrived at his latest assignment, the luxurious Park Hyatt in Dubai, with a deeper understanding of the importance of a harmonious team environment and with a set of skills that will allow him to make a valuable contribution to the existing program that offers a wide range of services such as private and group lessons, junior program, adult clinics and events. Outside of the court, Cristian is a passionate drummer and an avid amateur photographer.
